It’s not easy. 

Taking the decision of leaving someone you still love 

Your heart is broken 

But you know that this person isn’t good for you 

They never loved you 

The concept of love is different 

For them love is control, manipulation , gaslighting and guilt trapping 

For you love is kindness, seeing the best in others, empathy 

And you try to forgive believing their promises  which they keep breaking at every opportunity 

Making you doubt yourself 

Making you feel so worthless and disposable 

It’s not easy to leave 

I will miss the person i thought you were

I won’t forget the memories 

But won’t forgive your actions
