The kind of love that makes you feel safe

Sometimes, people start off making you feel like you’re everything—good morning texts, late-night calls, big promises that sound like they really mean forever.

But after a while, things change. The effort fades, the words lose warmth, and you’re left questioning if you’re still wanted or just being kept around. It’s confusing and painful, especially when you remember how good it felt at the beginning. That’s what “sa umpisa lang masaya” feels like—when something that seemed so real slowly turns into something uncertain.

I hope you end up with someone different. Someone who doesn’t just show up when it’s fun or convenient. Someone who stays kind, stays consistent—even on days when things aren’t exciting. A person who makes you feel secure, not just at the start, but through the quiet, boring, and even difficult parts of life.

The kind of love that makes you feel safe being yourself, without having to question if you’re still enough. The kind that proves “sa umpisa lang masaya” doesn’t always have to be true.
