I will never ask for help but I will remember who offered.

I will never ask for help, not because I think I can handle everything on my own, but because I have learned that people don’t always show up when you need them. and because I don’t want to be a burden. but even if I don’t ask for help, I will always remember the ones who offered. The people who noticed when something was wrong, even when i tried to hide it, and reached out just to remind me that I wasn’t alone. and even if I don’t say it out loud, I will always be grateful for those people.

So if life ever gives me the chance, I hope to return that kindness and be the person who offers without hesitation, the one who stays when everyone else walks away, who listens without judgment, and who offers kindness without expecting anything in return. Just as they did for me.
