You never truly know what someone is carrying behind their smile or their laughter. We often assume that the ones who appear the happiest are free from struggles, but in reality, they might be silently dealing with battles we can't even imagine. A bright face can mask the darkest moments, and the loudest laughter might be hiding the deepest pain. It’s easy to forget that everyone has their own burdens when all we see is the surface.
Be kind. Even when it feels like others don't deserve it, or when kindness seems unreciprocated. The world is already heavy enough, and your small act of compassion might be the only light someone sees in a long time. People need kindness the most when they show it the least, and you never know how much of a difference you could make in someone's life just by choosing to care.
