As a good woman

No one bears the weight of silent cries,

Like a good woman with faithful ties.

Her heart, a fortress, steadfast and true,

Yet shattered by love she once thought grew.

She gave her all, her soul, her fire,

Built dreams on the whispers of his desire.

But promises faded, like mist at dawn,

Leaving her clutching what was gone.

Her loyalty a gift, her love unspoken,

But he saw her heart as easily broken.

She stayed through storms, through darkest nights,

Hoping he'd see her worth, her light.

But some men are blind to treasures they hold,

Trading diamonds for glitter, warmth for cold.

She learns too late, in her endless ache,

That loving the wrong man was her mistake.

Yet pain births strength, like a phoenix's flame,

From ashes of sorrow, she’ll rise again.

No one endures more, yet no one’s as strong,

As a good woman who’s been done wrong.
