I've become selective about the company I keep. Life has shown me that it's not necessary or beneficial to be friends with everyone. Some people bring unwanted negativity, jealousy, or insincerity into my life. Because of this, I prefer to keep my circle small, surrounding myself only with genuine people, and minding my own business.
