Jealousy

Jealousy is a funny thing. It sneaks in quietly, making you compare yourself to others and question your own worth. ⁣

But let’s pause for a moment. Have you ever stopped to ask why you feel jealous?⁣

Let's be real, jealousy often isn’t about the other person. It’s a sign that you’re not fully stepping into your own unique strengths and gifts. ⁣

It’s like planting a seed but never watering it, then getting upset when someone else’s garden starts to bloom.⁣

Let me paint a scenario to help you better understand this complex emotion. ⁣

There are two female bakers at a community fair. One is known for her perfectly decorated cakes, and everyone seems to rave about them. ⁣

⁣The other baker, watching from the sidelines, feels a twinge of envy. “Why is everyone talking about her cakes?” she wonder, feeling overlooked.⁣

But here’s the catch, the second baker isn’t even passionate about cake decorating. She makes the best pies in town, so flaky and flavourful that people would drive miles to get one. ⁣

Yet, instead of focusing on what she does best, she's caught comparing her cake to someone else’s.⁣

Sound familiar?⁣

Jealousy is often a sign that you’re looking at someone else’s lane instead of focusing on your own. ⁣

The more you embrace your authentic self - your unique skills, passions, and strengths - the less room there is for envy. ⁣

Why? Because when you operate in your full, authentic self, you’re too busy thriving to feel threatened by someone else’s success.⁣

It’s not about outshining anyone; it’s about being so confident in your light that you’re not even checking who’s holding the brightest torch. ⁣

Remember, no one can do you better than you. You’re uniquely wired for the impact you’re meant to make.⁣

So, the next time jealousy tries to creep in, stop and ask yourself, “Am I fully showing up as my authentic self?” ⁣

If not, it’s time to shift the focus back to nurturing your own gifts. That’s where your magic lies.⁣

Dear friend, stay true to yourself, and let the world catch up!⁣
