Let kindness be the light

Let kindness be the light you share,

For harsh words linger, wounds laid bare.

Speak gently to those who are small,

Their hearts are pure, they feel it all.

To youth whose journey is steep and long,

Give words that help them stay strong.

Life’s trials lie along their way;

Let your voice be hope today.

For those whose years draw twilight near,

Whose stories call for a listening ear,

Speak softly of the paths they've known,

Each word a comfort gently shown.

And to those who've lost their way,

Show mercy in the words you say.

For even one kind word or tone

May lead a wandering soul back home.

For gentle words, like morning dew,

Bring light and warmth to life anew.

These whispered truths, these acts so kind,

Leave ripples that endure through time.
